To participate in this program a student must already have a knowledge in basic computer skills and their computers must meet the following requirements:

• Intel Pentium 4 or Intel Celeron (or compatible) 2.0 GHz processor
• Windows XP with Service Pack 2: 1GB of RAM
  OR
  Windows Vista: 2GB of RAM
  (sorry, no Mac OS)
• Note on RAM: less RAM will result in students experiencing increased frustration levels due to longer load times and the inability to have numerous programs and software running concurrently especially with regard to any graphics editing programs
• 1.5GB of available hard disk space (minimum) + more than 1/2 of your C: drive available
• Video card with support for DirectX 9 graphics and minimum 64 MB dedicated video RAM
• Color Monitor 17” (19” better) with Super VGA 1024x768 or greater resolution
• DVD Drive
• Internet connection: high speed or cable connection
